Ann Curry
Ann Curry, an American journalist and photojournalist who has reported on the natural and military disasters of more than 45 years. She focuses on the suffering of those who live in these places. Curry has written about the wars in Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo and the Central African Republic. Ann Curry (born on November 19th, 1956 in the city of Agana) was an American television reporter, anchor and journalist. Her most renowned work was for her work as a reporter on the Today Show, a daily morning news program that was broadcast by National Broadcasting Co. Curry is known for reporting humanitarian crises and natural disasters particularly in nations which have suffered the effects of the war. Curry's father was a naval officer with the U.S. Navy and her mother was Japanese. Her father dated his mother in Japan while he was stationed there after World War II. They were frequently on the move because of the military duties of her father. Curry attended high school in Ashland, Oregon. She graduated in 1978 in 1978 from in the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in journalism. In her youth, she was exposed to various kinds of cultures.
